A STORY WITH SPOTS AND STRIPES TO LEARN TO RESPECT THE DIFFERENCE

Author: Estefania Padullés

I was born in a small town in the Pyrenees. I graduated in Biology from the University of Barcelona. After traveling through different countries to complete my studies with animals, I moved to Almeria to work in a Marine Fauna Recovery Center. Later I was Head of the Department of Education and assistant of the Department of Conservation in a Zoo where I made the design and illustration of campaigns for the protection of endangered species as well as the educational material (illustrated books, posters).

Apart from my work as a biologist, I have never stopped painting or drawing. When I had the opportunity, I exhibited paintings and participated in a short story book.

In the last years I have made several illustrated stories, of which, one has already been published in German version for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and others (The wish of the cat Klops, The song of the sun and Max and Lea) were published by Hercules de Ediciones in Spanish and Galician.
