Since the days of the troubadours up until the recent generations of new writers, Galician literature has formed an essential basis for the Region’s culture. The Galicia Project’s Literature Series takes an in-depth look at all the periods of Galician literature from the Middle Ages up until the present day. This six-volume series takes an innovative approach, including for the first time ever the analysis of aspects such as literary criticism, translation and the role of cultural associations. Covering more than 2,600 pages, this section of The Galicia Project offers an in-depth insight into the region’s literature, and includes the works of lesser-known authors. It also inter-relates authors and addresses each issue from the most appropriate perspective. The series also includes a volume dedicated to the writings in Spanish of Galician authors.
